On the day, you can expect a warm welcome, open networking, delicious buffet lunch (sometimes can be alternate serve meal), great business connections and educational workshops – leaving you feeling inspired!
Sample agenda (which is subject to change and excludes special occasion events).
Informal Networking: Our friendly business networking events start at 12 Noon. Arrive early if you can, to give you time to settle in and meet the hosts. You will have the opportunity to meet other successful business women at your own leisure. It’s a fun and relaxed environment. Feel free to bring a friend. No sales pitches – it’s all about relationship building and takes time.
Warm Welcome: At 12.15pm the formal section of the event starts with your host. Each meeting will have a set agenda. We can easily “buddy” you with someone if you wish.
Business Commercials: Every member and guest is invited to present a business commercial – your 30 second elevator speech. We have hints and tips to help – just ask us how and see our networking tips page on the website and video on our YOU TUBE Channel.
Business Development: This is a 10-20 minute educational presentation given by experts that will help you with your business success.
Lunch Time: 1pm.
Leads and Referrals: A 5-10 minute networking session designed for you to ask for leads, receive leads and build relationships. Your aim here is to “book a meeting at a meeting”.
Closing: SWN events officially finish at 2pm but the networking doesn’t have to stop here, there will be an opportunity to carry on networking.
Hints and tips to make the most from your networking experience.
Arrive 10mins early to allow for parking and registration on arrival.
Dress Code: The most important thing is that you are comfortable. Our events are structured but informal and relaxed all at the same time. Wear whatever you would normally wear for your working day.
Business Materials: Please bring a name badge, plenty of business cards and your marketing materials.
Invite a Friend: It’s nice to bring along a colleague / friend to share the experience. Feel free to register online. To avoid disappointment, RSVP as soon as possible as its limited number of guests. A confirmation email will be sent to you and receipt automatically after online registration.
Business Commercial: At our events we invite you to tell us about your business. Take some time to prepare your business commercial which are normally 30 – 60 seconds.

Dietary Requirements: Please advise us 48 hours before the event accordingly when you register online.
Members please bring: Your pull-up banners, products, samples, story boards, equipment and any other promotional material you have to promote your business. We have allocated spaces for your marketing materials and trade tables upon request.
Other events: Business and personal development workshops, e-learning and business expo's.
